Ashley learns about haikus

While it’s wonderful that Ashley is embracing a new creative outlet, we’re a little concerned that it’s becoming a problem.

Ok guys it's time/I must leave this desk for home/to dream of haikus

She’s even sending them during her off-time hours.

Just trust us, there's a lot of haikus going on in this one

We tried to ignore it, but it quickly become clear that that was not an option.

We tried to respond in kind, hoping it would deter her.

It is about now/when friends form interventions/forhaiku addicts

But it only seemed to spur her on.

you might start to ask/Ashley, seriously, stop/but I shan't stop ever

Now our emails have taken on haiku form. Soon, we may be having our conversations in syllabic groups of five-seven-five

The sun shines so bright/inside deafening silence/hope austin is fun

Or maybe we should just embrace it and call it a day.

like haiku parkour/ash incorporates everyday/terms into verse
