We’re traveling the globe and sharing the greatness of domain names. Why? Because domains are amazing. And listen, we’re not some bunch of narcissistic snots all loaded up on how great our stuff is. For years we didn’t share much at all. And then corporate came in and was like, “You guys do know how to make money, right?” and we realized that we were hogging all the goodness. Us and our geek friends were keeping close guard on our divine website magic.

Because domain names are magic.

In a comparison that would be ill-advised for most products, we’re going to put domain names head-to-head with tacos. I know. Crazy. Don’t even try to stop me.

Name: Taco

Benefits: Meaty, cheesy bliss in a loving, crunchy embrace. Like a little Love Boat for your mouth.

Avg Cost: $2.49 USD

Will be remembered for: being gone so quickly.

Benefits: Gives you a priceless place to call your own on the Internet.

Avg Cost: Like 10 bucks.

Will be remembered for: making everything more memorable.

At first glance you might think this is a pretty close fight, but then you factor in that any taco you kept for a year would be a bad thing. You might say, “You can’t eat a domain name!” Oh really? How many people do you think google.com feeds?

See? Then you put in URL forwarding, the ability to make Facebook more memorable or LinkedIn more professional. AND it’s free with your domain. Email forwarding is free as well, and that means you get to brand yourself with every email you send.

We love tacos. A lot. One of us may have developed a habit. But you can see why we might want to take our wares on tour. It’s the Domain Awareness Tour, and it could be coming to a city near you.
