Is there any “special”  to make  a .pro domain usable, 2 months after registration ? Since May 26th is “on hold” even after having accomplished required steps to get verified. Definitely isn’t up to you to change status to “OK” but still … Name.com does not have a word to say to Afilias ?! For such a Registrar, I guess your attitude could weight more than appears to do at this time.

Hey ExperHost Romania, that’s definitely a bummer :/ Can you give us some more information so we can look into it further? What is the domain name or account username? You can send an email to ashley@name.com with the info if you’d prefer to keep it private. We’ll definitely make sure we do absolutely everything we can for you.

Well, I think I know the hard way how frustrating this situation could be. Could we say that was not enough patience since registration ? If “24 to 48 hours” means “24 to 48 days” let me doubt the power of understanding about how “professional” term should be defined in Afilias’s vision. Selling .PRO domains to professionals requires to be at least as ‘pro’ as you ask your buyer to be. Am I missing something or having a problem with term definition  ? Hope not.
I will NEVER EVER register a .PRO domain intended for business use and neither for a customer.
Thank you for offering the possibility to be contacted directly although we had discussions on this subject by support tickets.–PS: hope my English is fair enough for you to understand what I really meant 🙂

Your English is fine. Much better than my Romanian. I was just talking to the support guys about the frustration with this. It seems you’ve already talked to them, but please know they are here to go go the .PRO registry on your behalf. The application process is stringent, but we’re here to help.

Never said that Name.com wouldn’t be customer oriented or that I didn’t receive answers to support tickets. From this point of view, since now I really have no reason to complain. To better understand me, let’s say you’ve bought a brand new car, have it delivered at your place but no keys; so you  just sit on your porch and guess what ? You’re somehow between disappointed, frustrated or mad because you can’t drive it. Same story tomorrow. After tomorrow same sh!t. They day after tomorrow looks like a deja-vu.  Would you jump for joy ? Certainly not.
What is so hard to me to understand, is what the hack is so hard to open 2 pictures and verify that the information is the same. It will take what ? 15 seconds ?
After all we’re not talking about a loan, implying multiple checks.
