We switched to Slack and it’s going about as well as you’d expect

We’ve been slowly making the transition from Google Hangouts to Slack over the past few weeks, and it has been quite the learning curve for many of us in the office who haven’t used the platform before.

Apparently Slack is what all the trendy kids are using, so we thought we’d give it a try.

After a few weeks of testing it out, we’ve discovered a few pros and cons about using Slack.

One downside is that it has possibly destroyed our time-honored tradition of Rebecca-rolling on Fridays. This is incredibly disappointing to some, but poses as a challenge to be even stealthier with our auditory sneak attacks for others.

However, we discovered the existence of a Slack channel called #ilovemypetdontyou, and now it’s pretty much the best thing ever because we just fill it with pictures of our fur babies all day.

And while some of us started out not so sure if we liked this new method of communication …

… most are coming around.
