Jared started the email chain by asking if anyone wanted his kid’s cake (yah, nice) but it quickly spiraled into a conversation about Gmail avatars. That inspired Nick to add a mustache to Dave, the Master of Dev, and offer it as anyone’s avatar. From there, high jinks ensues, hilarity is had and CEO Bill watches money fly out the door. As with all email chains, you gotta read from the bottom up.

Let it be known that in real life, I can jump slightly higher than that.  I’m not saying I’d get the coin or anything, but come on.

As VP of Awesome it is my duty to inform you that you must choose a gmail profile avatar pic. Some choose small fuzzy animals, others choose pictures of themselves, and one or two (actually one) sell their soul for a t-shirt and put whatever they are told to put by their new oppressive avatar master. The choice is entirely up to you but if I may offer one bit of advice, choose your avatar pic wisely.

A lot of cake really. It’s from my kids birthday on sunday and it’s been in the fridge and getting a little rigid around the edges but it’s still pretty damn good. Does anyone want cake? I’ll bring it in if so.
