GoDaddy is currently suffering from a massive DNS attack that has brought down not only their main site, but also many domains using their nameservers and a string of other supporting services. The outage is the result of GoDaddy being hit by a large scale denial of service attack on their DNS Infrastructure, which provides domain services to GoDaddy and their customers.

These types of attacks are frustrating for customers and registrars alike. Third party sites that are not the target of the attack often become collateral damage and experience outages that were meant for a specific user or service. As a recent recipient of a DNS attack, we realize that despite working hard to prevent and contain them, sometimes there isn’t a lot one can due to ensure that their customers sites and services remain active.

So we want to help.
