What is a VIP credential?

A VIP credential is a device that generates a unique six digit security code required to access your account. Each time you sign into your account, you will enter your username and password as usual. Additionally, you will enter a unique security code generated by your VIP credential. While your username and password provide an initial layer of security, the VIP credential provides a stronger layer of protection because only you possess the credential that generates the unique code that confirms your identity.

The NameSafe VIP credentials are convenient to use and portable. They may also be used at other VIP Member Sites.

How does it work?

Simply generate a unique one-time security code with your NameSafe VIP credential and enter it into the Login form after submitting your existing user name and password.

Once you have registered your credential with the site, you will use it every time you sign in for added security.

How do I get a NameSafeVIP credential?

1. Sign up for the NameSafe service - your credentials will be shipped to you OR if you already have a VeriSign VIP credential you can register it with Name.com when you sign up for the NameSafe VIP service

How much does it cost?
