How to enable/disable failed login attempt notifications

Last Updated: July 14, 2022

This setting gives you the option to send notification emails to the administrative email address on the account when a login attempt fails. The email will contain the time the request was made and the IP address it was made from. You can also receive emails when there is a successful login.

How to enable failed login attempt notifications

  1. Log in to your Name.com account.
  2. Click on the User icon (user-icon.png), located at the top right, open the drop down menu and click Settings.
  3. Click Security Settings in the Security section.
  4. Check the box for Send Email Notification on Failed Login Attempt if you wish to receive these notifications. Uncheck if you do not.

If you want to enable or disable successful login notifications, you can also do so.
