Phishing scams are a form of cybercrime, which may involve cybercriminals acting as legitimate companies or organizations in order to defraud users to retrieve sensitive information. However, there are a few ways that you may hopefully avoid these types of situations.
1) Always check the "from" field and email to ensure they match and are accurate.
2) Make sure email replies are going to a known contact email.
3) Think before you Click! - Be careful what images and links you click on.
