cPanel Error: Session Cookies Invalid

Last Updated: Sep 12, 2015

cPanel is very concerned about security, but sometimes this can cause accidental blocks on your hosting. If you are trying to log in and you get an error on the cPanel login screen that says Session cookies invalid, then one of the cookies for the page is incorrect.

To resolve this problem, first clear out your browser's cache and browsing history. If you still have issues, use a completely different browser than you normally use and that should bypass the problem.

You can also choose to use and anti-caching mode, such as an incognito window (Google Chrome) or private browsing (Firefox, Safari).

Finally, you can try logging in by going to the following link: server:2083/ and enter your hosting username and password. To find your server, please do the following:

  1. Log into your Name.com account and click Account.
  2. Click My Web Hosting under My Products at the top.
  3. The server is listed next to where it says Web Hosting Server.
