A .EU domain follows the normal transfer process which you can read more about here. In some cases, it may stall on the submitting transfer status. Although there are a few causes for this issue, by far the most common culprit is a problem with the account contacts. The .eu registry will not let a transfer complete if you have contact details outside the European Union. You will need to change the contact information on your account to your valid European contact information. Once you have updated the information, send an email to email@example.com and we can retry the transfer for you.
To update the contact information of the entire account, please follow theses steps:
- Log into your Name.com account and click My Account.
- Click Account Contacts under, my dashboard.
- Update the contact information that you wish to change and click Update. If you want all the contact information in the account to be the same, check the Make all contact information the same box before clicking Update.
